Trade School Digbeth: How To Beat Work Stress

Join Rachel Drinkwater for a workshop on how to Beat Work Stress with Time Management, Public Speaking Skills and Effective Meetings

In this class, you will learn how to learn how to beat work stress! The session will comprise 3 sections, roughly broken up into:
30 mins on time management techniques
30 mins on effective meetings
1 hour on public speaking (with some fun exercises)

Barter Items to bring for Rachel:

Trade school runs on barter and rather than a monetary exchange. Rachel, the teacher of this class has requested one of the following.

  • Ideas and opportunities for conference/event speaking or teaching
  • Check out her blog at www.racheldrinkwater.com
  • Macarons (or the name of a good macaron dealer!)
  • Sugar free cream soda
  • Tell people about Rachel’s class and recommend her to others!

A little more about Rachel:

In no particular order, Rachel is an IT professional, actor, musician, blogger, change and transformation expert, digital enthusiast, wife, traveller, hiker, runner, (very) amateur windsurfer/sailer and a creative industries academic!

About Trade School

The Trade School network is a collective of self-organised barter-for-knowledge schools across the world. Trade School began in January 2009 as an experiment by a group of artists in New York City who wanted to celebrate local wisdom, mutual respect, and the social nature of exchange.

Trade School Digbeth is a local chapter of this initiative driven by the Impact Hub Birmingham community and friends. For more info and other upcoming Trade School classes, click here.
