Summer Co Crèche sessions at Impact Hub Birmingham with #RadicalChildcare
#RadicalChildcare is an initiative to explore, imagine and invest in bold new possibilities for the future of childcare.
Impact Hub Birmingham will be offering summer crèche day passes for parents/carers at a special cost of £20 per session. Our pop-up on-site crèche facility, offers free-flow creative play activities for children and includes some structured sessions led by experienced artists and early years practitioners. We offer safe, stimulating, creative sessions to babies (4 months and up), toddlers and pre-schoolers. The onsite co-working space at Impact Hub Birmingham has super fast broadband, big spacious tables, plenty of natural light, a coffee shop, PAYG printing services and areas to host meetings.
There are some limited spaces for additional siblings at a reduced rate of £5 +VAT per child, per session. If you are thinking of booking a creche pass for the duration of the summer (i.e the whole of August), please do let us know before 27th July if you will be booking for an additional child. If however, you are thinking of purchasing a creche pass on a weekly basis, then please note, we will need at least 3 days notice if you will be booking for an additional child.
To learn more about our in-house childcare provisions, please visit our Parent Membership page. Please note, this Day Pass does not include the Parent Membership but does offer the same co-creche and work space facilities we offer parents/carers on a weekly (Thursday’s only) basis.
This work forms an important part of our #RadicalChildcare programme, an initiative to explore, imagine and invest in bold new possibilities for the future of childcare. Based in Birmingham, we want to work with parents, grandparents, professionals in the sector; commissioners, policy makers, educationalists, serial entrepreneurs and many others to develop and test radical solutions to enable children and families to thrive.
For more information, please do get in touch via email.
You can book your one off or weekly summer crèche sessions via Eventbrite here.
As part of the summer #RadicalChildcare programme, we will also be hosting a series of Mini Activists sessions.
Are you looking for fun, creative and alternative child friendly activities to do over the summer period? Do you need engaging childcare and workspace?
Look no further, Impact Hub Brum will be hosting a 4 part series of afternoon workshops during the month of August with a focus on activism, community and creativity. Inspired by the revolutionary books “A is for Activist” and “Counting on Community” (beautifully illustrated and written by the talented Innosanto Nagara) we will be facilitating young minds to reflect on their collective values and how these can be exercised through their innate artistry and engineering skills. Expect plenty of crafting, den building interactive/animated poetry, music and film.
