Sabiha Mahmoud is a British born photographer, from the Kyhber Pakhtunkhwa region. She has reported from Western Sahara, Morocco, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Afghanistan, Turkey, Palestine, Kashmir, Kenya, Lebanon, Egypt and Central African Republic. Her work has been published in various news outlets including Corbis, Huffington Post, Sky News, Frontiere News, Ceasefire magazine and Sixteen Minutes to Palestine. She has delivered a talk on documenting through photography organised by Some Cities at mac birmingham, and she regularly organises workshops and gives training to those who wish to take control of their own narrative through photojournalism. She plans and partakes in lone performance also art as a form of activism in public spaces to engage the public in taking notice of struggles across the globe, and has taken up drawing political cartoons to give a counter narrative to mainstream media.
