Every Monday at Impact Hub Birmingham is Open Project Night, 6.30pm – 10.30pm.

Once a week we fling open the doors of Impact Hub Birmingham extra wide and invite any imagineers working on projects, ventures and ideas focused on unleashing a better us – a better Birmingham – to all come together in the same space. Creatives, activists, entrepreneurs, dreamers, scientists, makers and doers, everyone is welcome to come along to add their vision of a better Birmingham.

What meet up’s are happening tonight?

SistersUncut Birmingham

Sisters Uncut is a feminist direct action group that campaigns to prevent and reverse cuts to domestic violence services and austerity measures. the group is open to all those identifying as women; including those with multi-gender identities and those who experience oppression as women.

 

UNMUTED August Meet Up

Theme for this month: #queerselflove. If you’d like, bring along something that helps you care for yourself, whether that be music or an instrument, a hot drink or mindfulness practice, etc. This meet up is a laid back space where new members are welcome any time. UNMUTED meet ups are a closed space in order to encourage a safe and open environment, there will be  other events in the future which are open to allies etc.

UNMUTED welcome back our monthly meet ups for People of Colour who identify as LGBTQI and people of colour who are questioning ONLY supported by IMPACT HUB Birmingham.  Please note, the meet ups are a no alcohol, no photo zone. If you would like anymore information or need some questions answering : contactunmuted@gmail.com

 

Community Exhibitors Social Media Workshop with Flatpack Assemble
Flatpack love to shout about all the great community cinema/festival film happenings in the West Midlands. As part of Assemble, and in partnership with Yellow Wednesday, they are hosting a training and development session designed to help community cinemas and exhibitors programme and market their events, as well a chance to network with your fellow film buffs, cross-promote your events and share ideas.

Tonight Flatpack will be running a workshop together with JC Social Media, designed to help community exhibitors get the most out of social media. This workshop is free, requiring a refundable deposit of £10. Meditation Techniques

Join the Mantra Meditation & Yoga UK Community for a free introduction to meditation and yoga. The first class is a beginner level class and everyone is welcome to attend. Spaces are limited and it is essential you call 07832 130403 in advance to book a space
