Couch to 5k is designed to get anyone metaphorically off the couch and running 5km in 9 weeks.
Every Monday for 9 weeks we will meet at 12pm at Impact Hub Birmingham to go running for one hour.
For the runs in Week 1, we will begin with a brisk 5-minute warm-up walk, then we will alternate 60 seconds of running, with 90 seconds of walking, for a total of 20 minutes. We will then pick up the pace week by week.
