Food for Thought: The Everyday Activism Project

“I have some food in my bag for you
Not that edible food, the food you eat
No, I have some food for thought.
– Erykah Badu

Food For Thought is our take on afternoon tea, an opportunity to feed our bellies and minds every Thursday here at Impact Hub Birmingham.

Join us as we gather around the workbench and discuss key themes and ideas each week, hosted by the community over tea and cake!

This week Impact Hub Birmingham members Campaign Bootcamp talk about their Everyday Activism Project.

The Everyday Activism Project, comes under the national charity Campaign Bootcamp and it trains people who know nothing about campaigning in campaigning skills, and helps build their confidence and networks. The training is free for grassroots groups, can be anything from 1.5 to 28 hours and is targeted towards marginalised groups – specifically BAME, refugee and asylum seeking and low income groups.
Naz and Grace from Campaign Bootcamp will be sharing more about the project, answer any questions that people might have and will be asking attendees share knowledge of groups/individuals and other organisations that might be interested in taking part.
Campaign Bootcamp would love the opportunity to collaborate with other organisations, so do join us!
