Food for Thought and There’s A Class in You

“I have some food in my bag for you
Not that edible food, the food you eat
No, I have some food for thought.
– Erykah Badu

Food For Thought is our take on afternoon tea, an opportunity to feed our bellies and minds every Thursday here at Impact Hub Birmingham.

Join us as we gather around the workbench and discuss key themes and ideas each week, hosted by the community over tea and cake!

This week, Impact Hub Birmingham team member Daniel Blyden will be talking about Trade School Digbeth: There’s a Class in You.

In 2017 we launched Trade School Digbeth at Impact Hub Brum and since then we’ve held 30 awesome classes where people have been able to exchange skills and knowledge. Whether it’s learning new practical skills such as how to decorate cupcakes, make Indian street food and create Tote Bags or absorbing old and new wisdom such as how evolve as a leader or developing a magical mindset, Trade School Digbeth has covered lots so much ground and helped our community to thrive.

As we move into the final year of Impact Hub Birmingham, we want to come together and build another banging season of Trade School Digbeth unlocking even more of the hidden skills, knowledge and wisdom we hold collectively.

If you have knowledge and skills you’re burning to share, you’re familiar with trade school ad keen to see more classes or you’re curious what you want to learn, we invite you to join us in for one of two workshops where we will collaborate to build the next season of Trade School Classes for 2019.
