Association of Chairs: Managing Relationships and Board Dynamics

Are you a Chair / Vice Chair of a charity with an income under £1m? Don’t miss the Beacon Programme’s ‘Managing Relationships and Board Dynamics’ half-day workshop

This workshop aims to provide you with practical guidance and tools to help you navigate this challenge and effectively work with your trustees and key individuals such as your CEO or operational lead.  It has been developed with the complexities of chairing a smaller organisation in mind; such as the executive role often being in a part-time or voluntary capacity and individuals often having both operational and governance roles.  You will have the opportunity to share learning with Chairs of other smaller organisations.

Book your tickets here. The workshops costs £20 and there is a travel bursary available for organisations with an income under £100k if booked a month ahead of the session.

The Association of Chairs are an independent association of Chairs of social purpose and not-for-profit organisations formed in order to help Chairs with their unique task: leading the board in delivering the organisation’s aims.

Who they?
The Association of Chairs are forward thinking and aim to deliver value to their members by providing information, commissioning research, peer support, networking and developing standards of best practice in governance that are relevant to Chairs of a wide range of organisations – large or small, local or national, working in different fields. As an independent association with charitable status they represent Chairs in the Third Sector across England and Wales.
