Join mOmhead for their sixth Girls Night In at Impact Hub Birmingham and seeing as it’s Women’s Herstory Month, they’ve decided to celebrate!
Being a female empowerment organisation, this theme is close to our heart along with the point of Girls Night In which is all about community. So fusing them together, we’ve decided to create ‘Herstory In The Making’ and celebrate the herstory of women from different regions of the world, faiths and ethnicities along with celebrating our present day women – YOU!
It’ll be a night of tacos, virgin margarita’s, snacks and mocktails along with learning about women who shaped our world, facts, stats, sharing YOUR stories in an anonymous safe space all whilst creating a special giant mural based around women.
It’s a night of creativity, learning, empowerment, food, drink, community and of course, herstories to end the final day of Women’s History Month.
‘Girls Night In’ is an open night for girls/women of any age and background. If you’re up for non alcoholic drinks, music, activities, discussion, food and a space to chill out for the evening; come along and enjoy a safe space with like minded people and unwind from a busy day at college, uni and/or work.
mOmhead are holding these nights for girls/young women as a way to simply relax and kick it with other girls. They feel the social aspect is just as important as the professional, as well-being is something we could all practice more of. You don’t always want to go to the cinema or to a restaurant so why not keep it simple and just have a chilled out evening that’s safe, empowering and tailored just for you.
There is a small fee of £4 (including booking fee) to attend Girls Night In, this is to cover food and drink costs and all/any activities involved, but if for any reason you cannot afford this, please drop mOmhead an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and they’ll see what they can do. You can book your tickets via Eventbrite here.
